Other Supporting Staff Positions
ResNet Computer
Consultant (RCC) - The ResNet Computer Consultant educates
residents on computers and networking at WCU, Consults with residents
on computer related problems, and supports the in-room network
connections. More importantly, RCCs are expected to be available
to residents to assist with computer-related issued and concerns.
RCCs work closely with the residence hall staff and Computer Center.
House Keepers - Housekeeping services are provided by the
Department of Residential Living for all public area space, including
community and suite style bathrooms. Standard services are provided
Monday through Friday during normal operating hours of 7 a.m.
- 3:30 p.m. Reduced services are provided on weekends with emergency
provided as necessary. It is the responsibility of al student
to maintain a safe and healthy living environment both inside
and outside their rooms. Question concerning housekeeping services
should be directed to the Department of Residential Living at
227-7303.
Student Maintenance Crew - The Student Maintenance Crew
performs routine tasks necessary for the maintenance of the residence
facilities and rental properties operated be the Department of
Residential Living. These tasks include, but are not limited to:
light bulb replacement, furniture and furnishing repair, venetian
blind installation and repair, baseboard and ceiling tile installation
and repair, and general manpower needs such as furniture and furnishings
movement. Student Maintenance Crew personnel have assigned work
areas and perform under the supervision of the Assistant Director
for Facilities.
Director of Judicial Affairs - The Director
of Judicial Affairs is a full time professional with master's
degree in student personnel, counseling, or related field of study.
The Director responsible for the case management of all student
conduct cases, maintaining judicial records, advising judicial
boards and responding to inquires regarding university and residence
life polices and procedures.
